Maybe I'm the only one but I don't like seeing coaches commenting anonymously. If you wouldn't say it to publicly, why say it to a reporter at all. That's just a media tactic designed to create controversy.

I love it, I hope they post Spurrier's comments about Arkansas on our bulletin board. Cocks have to come to Fayetteville this year too.

Yep. All he wanted to do was find skill position players on offense. Completely neglected everything else, and it's going to kill them this year. I don't look at these comments as taking a shot at Arkansas so much as taking a shot at Petrino, who has developed a well earned reputation for leaving his successor an empty cupboard.

I don't think Spurrier liked Petrino but he respected him... something from their UF days together. but also, Spurrier doesn't live 100% by recruiting and respects those that do more w/ less, so I don't think it was him. I bet is was Les Miles because he took up for Kragthorpe.
Anyway, I thought it was west coaches talking about west team and east teams talking about east teams.

It was an assistant coach from some team in the West. Someone who really really wanted to take shots at Petrino.
