I was actually considering moving to Canada in light of the current state of affairs in the US. This threa saved my life. I had no idea how cold it was in Canada. Most of the TV shows make it seem warmer somehow.

Not to be nitpicking, but based on the map you imbedded, Idaho and Colorado appear to be the only states with negative temps but yea Wisconsin borders Lake Michigan and Lake Superior and that lake-effect wind and snow is damn cold.
