They went to a major bowl game for the first time in like 40 years. Of course they aren't going to care. Winning is all any of us really want.

The excuse making on their 247 board is phenomenal. I looked through a couple of threads the other day and was surprised at how many folks over there think they're still going to get off easy and they'll be back to top 10 classes in no time.

Well, considering ole miss signed their only 2 top ten classes ever because they cheated heavily, they are in for a rude awakening.

Don't count me in as one who doesn't want to clean house. I want everyone in there gone and bring in people that's never heard of Ole Miss. Don't care if they're high school coaches or what. They ain't leaving fast enough for me. I mean we're going to be set back for a decade so it's not like its going to hurt bringing in new people that's never coached at this level. And like I've said before it's not costing us any kind of championship since we can't even win 10 games in one season. Even after cheating.
So getting back to 5-7 or 6-6 is going to be what we can hope for. And bring on the downvotes from some who still think we should keep everybody.

Some of you guys (or gals) who root for other schools are bad to brand the entire fanbase by what you read from a few on some message board. Surely you are aware those are the ones on the fringes. Most OM fans know very little of the specifics around all this. They just want to go to a game here and there and hopefully win. And if that doesn't happen, Monday is coming, time to go back to work. Sure, you can find a nut if you are looking for it, but the rational ones were not sad to see Freeze go, want more to follow and fully realize this is gong to be rough for a while. Maybe a long while. And those are the few that really keep up with it. All we can do is move forward, do better and work hard to put it behind us. What else is there to do? What do you want us to say. It's quite ugly. That's very obvious. Does it really need to be said over and over?

Realistic view. If yall can pull off 6 wins a year, and stay bowling with a good showing in the bowl game that would be a good foundation to build off of.
Problem is people getting impatient, and trying to keep up with the Jones'. Not trying to insult, but thats the type of people that fill out the OM fanbase.
Things can happen if the right coach is brought in. Finding one that can do a lot with little is what the realistic om fan can hope for.
