An argument for why the SEC needs Missouri:

Teams like South Carolina, Tennessee, and Kentucky need that conference win over Mizzou to propel them to 6-6, or 5-7 to become bowl eligible most years. Thus, allowing those otherwise sub-par teams to compete in a bowl and share their revenue with others.

Please, go ahead and provide five (5) reasons why Missouri belongs in the SEC and/or WHAT Missouri contributes to the conference.

You know you are in their heads when they use no logic to strike back.
OP used Kentucky and South Carolina as examples...
They have 50 combined seasons between them with 1 SEC East title.
Mizzou has 2 in 5 seasons. Mizzou has gone 7-1 in the conference twice in 5 years. South Carolina and Kentucky have each never done so in 25 years since expansion.

You forgot to mention that Mizzou was the only SEC team in that span of time to STRIKE and threaten to not play SEC football games. I guess that's one way to keep the losses off your record.

You have a losing record against UK in the Big 4 sports (included baseball for the SEC west folks who think it is more important) so you will have to kick arse a lot just to pull even. On the plus side, I think your W basketball team finally got a win so that helps. Digging out from 0-10 may take some time tho. Cats are building a new 50 million baseball stadium so that may get lopsided going forward. They will probably get a big naming rights check when that opens so hope that does not rustle wore Mizzou jimmies when it happens
Jim played ball at UK so if he drops some coin getting it built I will not be shocked.

Argument won by the simple fact that the Universities and leadership of the SEC wanted Mizzou to join and voted them in as full members. What a bunch of fricktards on a website think or want is irrelevant. We here for the long time and enjoying the hell out of it.

Missouri is a financial drain on the entire conference, and makes no effort to contribute their fair share to the SEC. You continue to be the loss leader and you won't be here for long.
