An apology

To Gators Gators (Stetson student), Korin, UF Matt, RoadGator, Forever Gator, etc.

I didn't mean to fly off the handle about this Stetson/UF-turned football thread. It clearly should not have gone on as it did.

I have nothing against Florida. I LIKE Florida.
LSU and Florida fans usually like visiting each other's campuses for tailgating and games. We are not name-calling vehement rivals like has been propogated. We have always gotten along. There's no reason that should not continue.

There were undoubtedly a lot of unfortunate posts after the unfortunate chain of weather events and subsequent scheduling decisions.
But posts on a random message board do not accurately reflect a fan/alumni base of 1,000,000+.

I would daresay most of the blowhards who called Florida scared (and I was most certainly NOT one of them, I wasn't mad at the UF players or coaches or fan base, but at the situation) were asserting their frustration behind a computer screen and not thinking first.
