LF against Carolina 7.9 yds per carry. Chubb 7.6 yds per carry.

21 for 159
20 for 158

Congrats on the small advantage vs that one common opponent.

I'll take two healthy backs over 2 guys recovering from injury all day long.

have said in previous posts Chubb was significantly better in 2014 than LF. In 2015, LF was better.

LF had a paper thin advantage over Chubb going into October.

LF started off so hot and was the heisman shoe in. Then the 2nd half of the reg season happened.

You mean where he averaged 157 yards a game?

Leonards first 6 games he averaged 208 yards a game
Leonards last 7 games he averaged 157 yards a game

Sooooo terrible

I mean this:

Games 1-05: 119 carries, 1022 yards, 12 tds, 8.58 ypc
Games 6-11: 152 carries, 719 yards, 6 tds, 4.73 ypc

See the giant drop off?

Why do you skip the last two games of the year? You are like a greasy democrat politician

Not one reg season game was skipped. Heisman voters saw the same drop off.

Almost 4 ypc less is a cliff jump of a difference.

I truly admire your spirit for fighting the good fight on behalf of our boys...but what's the point?

You aren't going to change anyone's mind (nor will they change any of ours), all this does is just keep the carousel going round with no end in sight.

Games 1-5 : 91 carries, 745 yards, 7 TD's, 8.12 ypc
Games 6-11 : 1 carries, 2 yards, 0 TD's, 2 ypc

See that giant drop off?

But in your own post you prove in the first half of the season LF7 was more than "marginally" better as evidence by actually running for more yards and SCORING more......

Ypc is a very meaningful stat for the sake of fair comparison. Can't say that about your favorite stat, which is too dependent upon number of carries to carry the same meaning.

It's meaningful to you because it tells the story you want to believe.

Stats are stats. They tell whatever story you want them to tell.

When the season ends in December, Fournette will have probably accomplished a little more in college than Chubb will have, and in April, Chubb will be on the board after Fournette's name is called, and they're both going to have productive pro careers.

It should be meaningful to every fb fan because it tells the story of how good a rb is at gaining yards on the ground, which is what the rb position is all about.

So tds don't matter? I thought the point was to score more points?

Tds matter most about winning games as a team but that doesn't prove much about the quality of a rb. It's too dependent upon how many scoring opportunities a player can get.
