Top 8 teams after today's 4th round of stroke play advance to national quarterfinals
Vandy, LSU, Georgia, Auburn and South Carolina are the SEC schools among the 15 finalists competing for one of those 8 quarterfinal slots today.

Do those scores carry over to the next round, or do they start over for the round of 8?

My understanding is that they switch to match-play (think singles matches at the Ryder Cup) and start over. 1 vs. 8, 2 vs. 7, etc. Each team has 5 players.
