Alleva's presser said only about 75% stadium staff would be on hand. It's going to be a hot day in the upper 80's to mid 90's. So everyone bring a bottle of water.

It could be the biggest party-game of a lifetime for LSU fans.
Buga running behind a stout line.
A very bad visiting team.
A bottle of vodka for everyone!

Too bad its not a night game.
I'm miffed I'll miss it.

if they don't open 2 upper decks, 75% staff will be more than enough

I found that odd. At WBS you've always been allowed to bring in a bottle of water. Is this something that isn't allowed at LSU, or is Alleva just making a note of this because of the short handed staff?

They don't allow any food or drink to be brought in.

For one or both reasons:
1. More money from concessions
2. Less trash/trying to keep out the alcohol

The latter.

They allow water in DV, just not alcohol (unless you're in a suite of course :)

Typically not allowed.

It's pretty obvious why.

LINK

Doesn't stop 1000s of fans from just putting the flask in the back pocket.

I've heard of other schools allowing unopened water bottles.

So yeah, bring your vodka on Saturday.

been that way for awhile, not that i've ever been checked hard, or at all, going in the gates. but shite, for the florida game in 2012 (2:30 game and hot as africa), they ran out of water, people were passing out in the stands, and they started charging like 3 bucks for fricking ice. it was the most ridiculous thing to see people literally being carried through the concourse on stretchers but jacking people trying to basically survive

Surely nobody will get a bottle of water, replace it with clear alcohol, and bring that to the game. It would be wrong of them to do that

Alleva needs to grow a pair and allow beer sales. Would make everyone happy and ticket prices would never have to increase again.
