Bateman is the only one with experience, although he has looked less than impressive in limited action. I don't doubt he could make a big leap as a full time starter though as I think athletically he's just as good as the past few Bama QBs. Blake Barnett is the one who has all the tools to be great if Saban is ready to hand over the reigns to him.
Is David Cornwell a legit option or is he on the outside looking in? Does the True Freshman really have a shot ( I can't see any way this actually happens)?

Threads galore on the topic. Jalen Hurt shook up the battle and leaves two 5* QBs in a lurch if they don't take the top two spots during fall camp.
If I had to guess, and it's purely a guess, I'd say Jalen throws the whole race into a frenzy and the bottom two transfer out.

Seriously, how in the hell would anyone on this board know who will start? I doubt that Kiffin or Saban knows at this point. It'll probably come down to Bateman and either Barnett or Cornwell. Before the A-Day game Saban said that if we had to play now, Bateman would start, but that could change depending on what happens during summer/fall practices. Hell, if Saban doesn't know, how in the hell would anyone else know?

Right now, it would be Bateman, but I think Barnett edges him out in the fall.

If I had to guess right now I'd say Bateman and Barnett share duties the first few weeks until one of them beats the other out. My guess is Barnett will win out and be the starter by the end of the season.
But nobody really knows. It's going to be hard to keep the freshman off the field.

Just from a talent standpoint, I think Barnett stands out the most.
