Help me out, Auburn fans. Did I do good? Would you substitute a player for another? There were a ton of great/incredible players left off, and some were tough choices. Players like Takeo Spikes, Quentin Groves, Karlos Dansby, Donterious Thomas, Carnell Williams, Ronnie Brown, Tre Mason, Antonio Coleman, Pat Sullivan, James Brooks, Joe Cribbs, Brent Fullwood, Reggie Torbor and Phillip Lutz had to be left off in favor of others.

How would other SEC teams look? I'm interested to see some of the names chosen from different time periods.

That's a damn strong team. Hard to keep off Groves IMO and maybe Dansby

Either trolling or getting way ahead of yourself there

Yeah, he was tough. I also struggled to keep off Antonio Coleman. IMO, they were both really, really good Auburn players during their time.

Another tough one. Auburn doesn't have very many great linebackers in their history, but he was one...just maybe not as good as others listed.

Replace Cam with JJ and replace Bo with Jovon and it looks good

Meh, he's easily one of the most talented wide receivers in Auburn history, and he's only a season away from being put down as one of the best statistical wide receivers in Auburn history.

Guys is the top 10 of yards and catches within recent Auburn history are Emory Blake, Darvin Adams, Courtney Taylor and Sammie Coates, and I think he's easily better than them.

Auburn's history of great wide receivers is pretty much meh.

Hard to argue with that list.

Again, it's really hard to leave off guys like Mo Claibore, Eric Reid, Jamarcus Russell, O'Dell Beckham Jr and so forth. Throwing Kevin Faulk in as an all-purpose back was a great call.

That's a fricking fantastic defensive line.

How in the hell did Dansby or Thomas not make the list?

Also, no Neiko Thorpe?

I think I'd put Skyler here.

So sick, and I struggled to throw it together.

I reached back to some classic players. One leads Auburn in tackles all-time, and the other was right there with him.

You listed two safeties, he listed a couple extra DB's.

I'd probably list Landry and Reid under safeties, but it's impossible to leave Mathieu off.

Georgia

QB: Aaron Murray
RB: Herschel Walker
RB: Todd Gurley
FB: Brannan Southerland
WR: AJ Green
WR: Terrance Edwards
WR: Hines Ward
TE: Randy McMichael
LT: Matt Stinchcomb
LG: Max Jean-Gilles
C: Ben Jones
RG: Pat Dye
RT: Jon Stinchcomb

DE: David Pollack
DT: Bill Stanfill
DT: Jimmy Payne
DE: Freddie Gilbert
OLB: Jarvis Jones
MLB: Boss Bailey
MLB: Knox Culpepper
OLB: Justin Houston
CB: Tim Jennings
CB: Champ Bailey
S: Jake Scott
S: Terry Hoage

PR: Scott Woerner
KR: Brandon Boykin

K: Kevin Butler
P: Drew Butler

A defense with the Bailey brothers, Jarvis Jones, Justin Houston, Pollack, and Gilbert on the same field would be damn near impossible to drop back to pass on.

Two former Denver Broncos, nice.

Champ Bailey was my favorite all-time player of old, and Boss Bailey could have been incredible had it not been for injuries.

Yeah, some weak competition there...

Like I said, Auburn definitely isn't WideReceiverU. Not even close.
