IMO. I went in 2014. Normally places like that don't live up to hype in my experience. I feel like that stadium does though. A late afternoon in that stadium is the real deal. Just something about the aura and surroundings.

Hope some of our Ag members are there to experience it.

The setting and drive there is about as memorable as an experience as there is.

Was there for the championship game against Texas. Really loved the setting and it did feel historic. I like old school things in general so I liked that aspect of it.

It obv. was lacking modern stadium bells and whistles but that's not what makes the Rose Bowl cool. Besides, I hear they did a major renovation to it since then anyway.

It's def. one of the venues every true college football fans should try to attend at least once in their lives if they get the chance.

It was awesome that night. Other than the final results.

Weird place for a stadium though. Parked on a golf course in a residential neighborhood.

It did take forever to get out of there though

I went in 2014 and except for the Rose Bowl sign I thought it was a shithole.

The stadium itself is definitely outdated. It's the setting that makes it worth the trip.

Sounds like that is bad for the course.

I do too, weagle99.
My sister and BIL are there, but it was touch and go.
United cancelled their flight outta Houston; after three hours on the phone, they managed to re-book em w Delta and re-route em through Utah.
I've heard of many Ags who weren't able to get outta Houston.

It was terrible. I cant imagine how they run that course during football season. No way they can have it ready to play on Sunday after Saturdays games.

It needed more accessible bathrooms. Thank God I was 3 seats from the end of the row. I think each row in a section is 100 seats.
