This is for the three men's sports. I don't remember the last time Ole Miss has made it to the sec championship game, a BCS bowl, a World Series, or a final four? Do the boosters not invest enough into the athletic program?

They did win the SEC tourney with a crazy person leading their basketball ball team last year.

P.S. I thought LSU didn't have rivals

Honestly there was a long period in the 80's and 90's where we let the other teams pass us by in facilities and overall athletic drive. We also had some crippling probation in the 90's when we decided to care again and went too far.

Ole Miss is just finally starting to get back in the game facility wise with the baseball field being very nice, stadium improvements, indoor practice facility and now new arena coming soon. We are still way behind and due to no help from our former AD, Pete MF Boone, we will be for a long time.

Also there being 2 major Universities in MS is really hurting both MSU and Ole Miss. MSU just got to the World Series final, but they have been pushing baseball forever and just got there.

Also a little luck has to come into play and for some reason that rarely lands on the side of Ole Miss for some reason. Us being 7-1 in the SECW in 2003 yet losing to eventual National Champion LSU keeping us from Atlanta and good chance at the SEC title that year for example.

In Ole Miss' defense, the year Miss State went to the SECCG, they were not the best team in the west Arkansas was. The year Ole Miss COULD have gone to the SECCG, LSU had their best team in a million years.

Yea I saw that y'all are making stadium improvements that will definitely help y'all out. I was jut wondering because I saw a post earlier that said how lsu was a stories program before Saban and it was easy for him to build us up. But ole miss is just as stories as lsu. The two schools were big rivals way back and were always in the national championship hunt.

Overall, they have a pretty good athletic program and academics. Ole Miss is doing better than you might think.

Where losing to a team means you're still better than them. Now it makes sense.

I'm going to start abiding by this rule as well. The only teams better than us are South Carolina and Kentucky. Suck it losers.
