Nick Fairley probably had the best single year of any DT in the SEC, and since Cam is your QB with only a single year, how can you exclude Fairley?

I really like your list. Seems like you put a lot of thought into it. I think it'll change a lot in the next 2 years or so with both Nkemdiches, Amari Cooper, and Kouandijo warranting consideration.

It would almost be too many points. And yes if we ever went a TE set, Aaron Hernandez would definitely be the guy. Nick Fairley was someone who I thought about putting in there, that's what makes the list so interesting. You could have a whole different team up there and it would still be

Someone from A&M or Mizzou should do a Big 12 all team and compare. I bet SEC's against any conference for that matter, even if you combined all of them.

Most of the time the people who start this are complete homers and half the team is their school. Solid list this time though.

Trent Richardson was a good back but he's not first team.

yikes. Maybe Witten at TE?

I'll allow it

Obviously all very good choices. I want to squeeze in Nick Fairley and Jarvis Jones but I don't know who would get bumped

yeesh. No fly zone. I actually think SS might be the relative week spot of the defense, and Landry was a bad arse in college. Thomas Davis would be another to consider at SS.

I was ready to get medieval when I saw David Pollack instead of Leonard Little, but he was drafted in 1998.

Even if LL did meet the critera, there's no possible way you could leave DP off this list.

Nice list. It's really going to vary depending on what type of offense and defense we're running with our super team. I'd throw Andre Smith in the mix.

And, on special teams, Javier Arenas as the punt returner.

By statistical production you're probably right. LL impacted the game more in my opinion though. I'll call it a toss up because you can't deny DP's production.

ETA: Still assuming LL met the criteria.

This is where I kind of feel sorry for A&M players of the 1990's and 2000's.

They won't be recognized on any list and won't be shown on any highlight reels by either conference. B12 definitely won't include them and no reason to include them in the SEC since they didn't play here. They kind of just get lost in the shuffle.

lol no. Maybe the new one, but the older one has no shot. Also, Amari is very good, but a bit overrated. Julio is ten times better than him
