Man dies in hospital after being shot in Columbia
COLUMBIA, Md. (WMAR) - Howard County Police are investigating a shooting that happened late Sunday night.
Police say they found a man with a gunshot wounds around 10:30 p.m. at the 5500 block of Harpers Farm Road, not far from the Harper's Choice Village Center.
Meiko Anthony Locksley, 25, was takes to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he died overnight.
According to police, multiple people called 911 reporting they heard a single gunshot outside of Locksley's home.
No additional information has been released about the suspect at this time.
Investigators are looking for information from anyone who may have been in the area and heard, or seen, something around the time of the shooting. Anyone with information about this incident should contact police at 410-313-STOP or HCPDcrimetips@howardcountymd.gov.
