Neither were/are overrated, but Henry was more deserving than Ingram if that's what you meant. Both were deserving winners though.

Both running backs carried their teams when the offense was struggling. I think a lot of people forget Ingram running the wildcat for the winning drive against South Carolina. Or just running it period when McElroy was under performing. Both backs carried their teams to a National Championship. Both backs lead the nation in yac as well.Both backs beat out a Stanford player for the Heisman. This is why so many Stanford hate Bama. Both backs deserved the Heiman. Which is why they won it.
