Alabama's Director of Player Personnel is now leaving.

One of the top young names in Alabama's football staff is moving back into the on-field coaching ranks.
Multiple news outlets are reporting Tyler Siskey, Alabama's director of player personnel, is taking the receivers coaching job at South Alabama.
Siskey arrived at Alabama from Ole Miss for the associate director of player personnel before being promoted in 2014. He coordinated the recruiting efforts, worked with compliance, and assisted with coaching clinics.
So is he just wanting to advance his career? Is he being asked to leave? Or is there more going on in Tuscaloosa then we know about?

He delivered against Ole Miss in 2013 but failed to deliver in 2014. He had one job, he failed, Saban told him to GTFO.

He was asked to start looking around, he was dirty in recruiting, USA is going to be sanctioned, he was an average director of player personnel, a certain amount of animosity on a staff is a good thing and not unusual at all.

Things seem to be crumbling in Gumpville. Saban has to regret not taking the Texas gig, especially now that Meyer will be remembered as the best in this era.
