It's about time for Saban and the Bammers to lay another egg. It's long overdue, and it wouldn't surprise me if Auburn tags them this year...

It's hard to go undefeated in the SEC! The Alabama/Auburn contest just looks like a trap game to me...the type of game that gets overlooked prior to the SEC Championship game.

UA did it last year.

Alabama has been spending time since spring practice on this game.

PDJ.... you must take lightly the whole "rivalry" thing. If there's one game this year Alabama will be up for, it's Auburn.

We talk about this game 365 days a year. There's nothing else like it, except maybe Clemson / South Carolina. Those people would kill each other over that game.

This makes as much as sense as some of our fans saying we didn't lose in regulation in '07.

Alabama's 1st Loss Prediction Thread

I predict that for the second straight year Alabama's first loss won't come against LSU. So if and when the first loss does come, have fun enjoying somebody else's victory because you couldn't do it yourself. Just try not to be mistaken for an Ole Miss fan while doing so.

No, you're sadly mistaken. The OP said, "Its hard to go through the SEC undefeated." Alabama did that in '08. Are you that slow?

Yeah, rivalry games are a big deal for sure, but crazy things can happen, especially in conference play. The SEC is a different animal...the Big 10, ACC, and Big 12 are much more predictable...

Funny, but I thought that Florida was an SEC team.

I think Gump fans should be required to take an IQ test before they are allowed to have a membership to this site.

Let's see. The OP reference Auburn in his original post. He then calls for a loss in the Iron Bowl because "its hard to get through conference play". You think maybe he was speaking of regular season? I didn't realize that UA played FL in the regular season. Do context clues give you that much difficulty?

No actually he didn't say the word conference. Nor did he imply it. He just said the SEC. The SEC Championship game (prepare to have your mind blown) is APART of the SEC SEASON. I know, I know tough stuff Mr. Gumptard!

This is in fact what he said:

No mention of conference. And to go undefeated in the SEC, you gotta win the SEC championship. I can't believe I'm even debating this.

Need me to have Lsufreek draw you a picture?

A couple of points:
1. Bama will NOT overlook Auburn
2. the SECCG is post season. regular season is 12 games
3. The Iron Bowl will a good game for football fans to watch.
4. Bama will win the game.
