The name ought to sound familiar if you're from NOLA.

I'm pretty sure it is just a blanket restriction. If he has his heart set on the Citadel I would bet Saban would let him go there.

Schools like that should never be restricted to start with. I'm all for allowing grad transfers to go whereever they want. Especially when they put in 3 maybe 4 years at your school and are graduating. There should be no restrictions on them.

That's ridiculous, LSU is not restricting Harris from going to SEC.

If he can't play at Bama, he's not going to start at FSU or Louisville.

There is no reason to not allow him to go to any of the other schools on that list and he's not going to the Citadel anyway.

Frankly, once a kid as graduated but still has eligibility, I think he ought to be able to go to any school he wants. He's done his time and commitment at the first school.

Yep. If anything, gives kids extra incentive to stick with one school and to graduate. After graduation, they can leave if needed.

Every program has their own way of managing their programs. This is SOP for Nick Saban.

Yeah, I can't even get the logic behind needing permission to transfer if you've completed your degree at the school. You fulfilled your commitment to the school by earning your degree. You shouldn't be bound by restrictions if you want to transfer elsewhere to continue your education in a graduate program.

Always plays the role of the a-hole, as long as it's within some rule somewhere

I'll never forget that Maurice Smith debacle last year, talk about blowing up in his face

Yea that was a disaster. Look at the impact it had in recruiting.

Not only that but the fricking guy scored the only UGA TD in their win over Auburn. So even when Saban loses a battle he still wins the war. I hate this POS so much
