Where does this rank in terms of upsets? Is this one of the bigger collapses in recent years of SEC baseball? I know there are other threads on this topic but none of them address how historically bad this is for Auburn.

It was embarrassing but I won't lose any sleep over it.
We can kiss our hosting chances goodbye.
We will get revenge against Bama at the SEC tourney

Sad but true, baseball is a niche sport. I wish more people cared about it.

Says the guy that's trying to get a moral victory by suggesting LSU needs a moral victory

Glad tUpdykes can celebrate their baseball season now. I was beginning to feel sorry for them.
And as far as Auburn's baseball team, they were predicted to finish last in the SEC. While it's a surprise that we got swept, it's not a surprise that we lost the series. Bammer had been chipping away and seemed really close to a breakthrough for a couple weeks now. Auburn still has the better team; they just had a rough weekend.

It's not sad. I get to celebrate back to back sweeps next weekend. It's not that bad.

They were predicted to finish last in the west tied with Alabama. Looks like the experts actually got it right this time.

I sure hope this doesn't hurt Auburn's chances for hosting a regional....they have such a huge home field advantage.

College baseball is about as niche as it gets. People watch the the WCWS more than they do the CWS. There is no market for college baseball outside of the southern United States.

Does it get more little bro than auburn? The only wins against big bro are usually some quirky miracle and then this happens

Now auburn is going to come into the box and sweep us, just watch. Wouldn't expect anything less from this LSU squad.
