if he wasn't scared he wouldn't only play neutral site games against P5 schools.

if he wasn't scared he wouldn't try to get the rules changed under the guise of player safety when its really b/c he has trouble with a certain type of offense.

if he wasn't scared he wouldn't piss and moan about players being distracted by the NFL causing losses when he himself lost focus and left multiple teams for more $$$.

I can understand that, but if we were clamoring for a different venue than Atlanta or Dallas and got Orlando I'd lose my shite.

God I hate that soulless town.

I think you're forgetting about Alabama's home-and-home with Duke

I'm just kidding, because I think you're completely wrong. These events are paying Alabama money they can't turn down, simply for being Alabama. Too bad A&M doesn't have that same pull

He's scared but has coached in one of the toughest conferences in the country for how many years now? And at a stop with arguably the highest expectations in college football?

He seems very frightened.

Recruiting and money. The contracts Alabama negotiated in Dallas guarantees at least $1 million more than the opponent.

Is typing all this out helping you cope with the beatdown of epic proportions Alabama laid on the Aggies on October 18?

If Sumlin was a better coach, he would have somehow managed to not spot Alabama forty fricking five points in the first half.

It's the same thing for UK in basketball with our OOC neutral games people bitch about. They're playing in Final Four arenas (experience), getting a fat paycheck, and opening up the brand to other areas.

You should probably come to terms with the fact that LSU and Bama are going to raid the state of Florida of its top recruits every year.

I'm just extremely opposed to the trend of pre-season bowl games. It represents everything going wrong with college football
Why are you extremely opposed to something that your team doesn't participate in? UF doesn't schedule pre-season bowl games. Y'all schedule Troy/Charleston Southern/Miami,OH/UAB/Toledo/Idaho and such to kickoff your seasons.

Great destination, family friendly, lots of things to do and not far from a hotbed of football talent.

Don't like Bama invading your territory?

I have zero interest in us scheduling ACC teams.
