Really good discussion this morning on Tide102.9 regarding the USC game and state of this years Alabama team surprisingly realistic in nature.
USC has a great OL that should hold their own with Alabamas front. They have 2 exceptional receivers and obviously great QBs. Saban has expressed concern about the running game this year and reports are Scarborough is struggling in some aspects of the game enough that the two new backs are getting some serious praise. If Sacrborough is struggling or if the OL is struggling which is even worse, I can absolutely see Bama dropping this game and starting the year 1 - 2 depending on what OM does against Florida State.

bama is rightfully the favorite but you know USC's first team is loaded with talent at the least.

both teams starting new QB's, first game. anything can happen.

i'll be pulling for Southern Cal. nothing against bama except they are just winning too damn much! give someone else a chance!

I'll help you, our 1st team D at the scrimmage totally shut down the run. USC may have what they think is an amazing OL but they won't run like they think. The starter for USC at QB is a notorious pick machine, the fans and some staff can't stand him. We have 4 RB's who are more than capable to do what we need. Bo Scar runs well and blocks well. But it is def going to be a two man show. This Apocalypse stuff is quite entertaining. USC has One great WR and one pretty good and one cover DB who is all world. People will reach for the stars on that shite.

I heard Bo is struggling in pass protection and hadn't finished a scrimmage yet.

USC is only getting the benefit of the doubt because they're USC.

They've been extremely average recently and have a new head coach in his first year as full-time HC.

I expect Bama to blow them out convincingly regardless who Bama's QB is.

Were you there? First scrimmage he didn't, second he did. His pass pro hasn't drawn anyone's criticism like at all. He didn't miss a single block sat.

We win by double digits. I will be pulling for all SEC teams but Auburn. Clemson is going to kill them.

I think it'll be close until Bama's D steps up. The game will start slow maybe 10-10 at the half and then Bama will shut them down and wear them down. Harris and Scarborough will probably combine for 50 carries.

Well that's impressive considering he's never thrown an interception as a QB at USC.

At practice he is a pick machine, don't take my word for it. Go dig around and you will see it for yourself dickweed.

I can easily see it being an ugly win like VA Tech in 2013

Oh good grief man, Bama ain't losing this game. If the the running game has been struggling it's probably because they're going against the best front 7 in CFB. The Bama offense may not look great this game, but I see grinding out a 23-10 type of game.
