Today, Walmart launched their first-ever Top 25 most spirited fan bases, based on licensed merchandise recently sold in Walmart US stores. While the Ohio State Buckeyes and New England Patriots are the reigning champions on the field, there are different teams ranked first in Walmart's Top 25. Based on recent sales data from Walmart in-store purchases, the University of Alabama and Seattle Seahawks have taken the top spots. Ohio State, Arkansas, Georgia, and Texas round out the top 5 in the college ranks, while Denver, Green Bay, Dallas and Houston are top 5 in the NFL.

lol...yes, saw that earlier.
Whatever state has a lot of wal-marts should be high on the list. Surprised Wisky is only 16 with all of the small towns with wal-mart stores.

Seahawks are number one in the NFL...Ohio State is number two in college. It's almost as if apparel sales follow success on the football field!

Deflection of what? Would you rather people not buy clothing of the team? Once you leave the store, people aren't going to care if you purchased the shirt at Target, Shopko, JC Penny or Wal-Mart.
I know of many Ohio State fans that go to the local store to buy cheap shirts for games each fall.

Results are skewed.
Updyke boughy 27 pallets of shirts alone.
Personally, I usually by two from the local wal-marks. One for everyday wear and one for formal wear.

I saw an Alabama shirt with a rhino (horn and all) and the "A" was like the ATLBraves at the Latino swap meet on Buford Hwy in ATL a few weeks back. To be fair there were several sports shirts with he wrong logos on them, they must press them there.

I'm pretty fancy. I recently bought a shirt at Alumni Hall.

As long as we're not #1 at Lane Bryant, I'm ok with this.
