What team started the super blinged out rings? I want to think rings weren't this decked out up until the last 15 years or so.

I still don't believe they can make these rings for the under 3-400 or whatever the rule is. Which is a stupid rule in the first place.

Yankees were the first ones with more than one diamond in 1977 for baseball. Looking up super bowl rings now.

Raiders in 1980 were the first to have more than one (steelers had 3 but it symbolized their 3 championships)
