Coincidentally, that's the team they actually have 1st in that ranking.

I love this Bama team, but 95 Nebraska is the best of all time. If the two teams played, maybe Bama would win because athletes are bigger and faster today. But looking at what the team did to the opponents of its day, Nebraska was more impressive on both sides of the ball.

Take a look at # 21 , they have Florida being undefeated. Alabama was undefeated that year , beating Florida in championship game .

Yep. That team was the definition of dominant. Our program since 08 is maybe the best dynasty so far imo. Nobody is going to replicate what Saban has done in my lifetime probably.

Let's not start sucking each other's dicks just yet. Still a lot left to do on the field.

Had a long thread on this a few weeks ago. And the reasonable among us realize 1995 Nebraska, 2001 Miami, and 2004 USC are the top candidates for GOAT.

Some of the young ones here don't recall that 1995 Nebraska team and assume it couldn't compete today bc athletes were all slow and skinny way back then.

Best Bama team. Jury still out with some unfinished business ahead.

No, no. Not yet this season. We'll see how the remainder plays out. Best I ever saw including balanced offense that amassed yardage that could do anything, stifling defense against both rush and pass, low in penalties and consistent special teams.

1. Miami 2001
2. Penn State 1994
3. Penn State 1978
4. Nebrakska 1971
5. Alabama 2011
6. Nebraska 1995
7. Florida 1996
8. Auburn 2010
9. Alabama 1978
10. USC 1972

Laughable that you don't have 04/05 USC in that list.

Won't matter how well the team plays if they don't finish the season with a win and a ring.

That said, Bama certainly looks like the GOAT program according to the linked metric with almost 25% of the top 25 filled with Bama teams.
