Alabama is not out of the NC picture just yet...

Agree of disagree?
I say they're not. Notre Dame will likely lose to USC. Oregon still has to play Oregon State and Stanford before their conference championship. K-State still has to play Baylor and Texas.
I would not be surprised one bit if a couple things went Alabama's way and they backed their way into the game.

It's possible. It's been a good season...maybe Bama can catch a break.

Two of the top 3 teams will have to lose and we have to beat AU and UGA.

Of course not, they'll be the highest ranked team with a loss

After last years lucky backdoor shite I guess anything is possible.

Nick Saban is already booked to appear on ESPN to discuss the eye test.

Good chance actually and would be more deserved than last year..
TAMU showed that Okie State should have been in the game last year.

They're Definitely not out of it. I dont expect 2 of the 3 to drop a game but stranger things have happened.
Like saban says though, worry about what you can control. They need to improve or could drop the game in Atlanta.

Agree. Some teams have to fall and Bama has to win out and in so completely destroy UGA in the SECCG. Very doable.

Either we get to Miami or we spank ND in the Sugar Bowl after winning #23 SECC. I'll take either one.

Umm, who would not agree? They did not even win the West last year and were knob gobbled into the championship game. Why the hell wouldn't it work this year?

Funny hearing LSU fans talk about back-dooring championships when 99.9% of the college football world believes their 2-loss 2007 team is the least deserving champion of all the BCS-era champs.

Alabama has to beat UGA.
Let's focus on that.
To the LSU fan who said we were lucky last year--how many two-loss teams (besides LSU) have made the title game?

I would be happy to win out, play in Atlanta, and maybe a BCS bowl this year. Have to go through Georgia first.
LSU fans would approve if Bama wins the SEC championship. According to them the SEC championship >>>>>>>>>>> national championship.

We fully acknowledge LSU got lucky in 2007. But the thing is, LSU was easily the best option for the last spot in the championship. Who got shafted, UGA? They didn't even make the championship game of the same conference that LSU won.
Last year, Oklahoma St is in the final game if they weren't a newcomer to the national scene and Alabama didn't have history. Okie St won their conference, beat more top 25 teams, and hadn't already lost a home game to LSU.
