Head coach... fired after this past season... before that, was considered an up and coming HC candidate (mentioned for the Rutgers job after Schianno went to the Bucs)... Golden just hired him at UM a few weeks ago for the same position.
seems like a very good hire... he's considered a strong south FL recruiter... not sure about his actual coaching abilities.

He's a great recruiter, hiring Cristobal and Steele after how well we've already been recruiting...

This. He has a lot of ties to Dade and is very well regarded. May finally help bama get their foot in the door recruiting Dade county.
Not sure he is actually a great OL coach, but he is well thought of here.
