Rounds out staff openings. Pruitt will DC and coach LBs.

Not sure how I feel about that. It's not a knock on Ansley I just assumed Pruitt would coach db's and then hire a LB's coach.

Being an Alabama native and a former GA there, I don't think we're too shocked. Rumors were flying here all week this was coming. Did a great job improving our CBs and I'm sure he`ll continue that with Alabama's secondary. Best of luck to Coach Ansley.

If Saban wants Pruitt to coach linebackers then it's hard to question his decision making. I do find myself scratching my head however.

I dont think so. Btw I think Kirby was a poor DB coach. They were not good under him.

I don't understand the move. Why not make Pruitt the secondary coach and hire a LBs coach instead?

As said, there's been some smoke that it was coming. Was also one of the better recruiters on staff. Hate to lose him.

Well Belle, smoke is coming from Lexington as well. Look for Stoops to go after Ed Reed. Yep, I said it...Ed fricking Reed as a secondary coach at UK.
