Given how dominant Bama is, it's hard to believe some of these games came down to the last drive or a call from an official, especially against a non-productive/stubborn Les Miles offense.

2 of the last 5 have been close. There was one when someone didn't even score.

How did I miss this thread? It's fantastic and very factual.

Funny how LSU beat bama 5 times in a row until 2007. It was expecting and us tiger fans said nothing about it on this board.

But I can see how Bama fans need to keep reminding us and themselves during this streak. Glad the REC could get more creative after that losing streak.

Congrats on beating up on Mike Shula and not bragging about it on a message board that didn't even exist. That must have taken a lot of restraint.

Bama had to go get a LSU coach to return to relevance.

We're relevant more often than not. But keep telling yourself whatever makes you have better feels.

It was funny when we hired him away from LSU.

Alabama was trash until they got our coach. Your time will come again and your mid 2000 era will rear its ugly head back.

He's pretty awesome. Was coaching LSU and the Dolphins at the same time.

Bama has won at least one SEC Championship in every single decade since the conference was created. Mike DuBose managed to win an SEC Championship, and Mike Shula managed to win 10 games. I think we'll be just fine.

Meh, truth stings but still rather be an LSU fan any day. It's more fun here. People visit Louisiana year-round, no one goes to Alabama if they don't have to.

Then you've never been to Alabama - it's one of the most beautiful states in the country. It has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, bountiful plains, marvelous farm land, foothills, canyons, and four mountain ranges - including the rise of the Appalachain Mountains with Lookout Mountain that runs 90 miles from Gadsden Alabama to Chattanooga Tennessee. Birmingham is split down the middle by a big ole 2100 foot Red Mountain - the beginnings of the Appalachains in a chain called the Ridge and Valley Mountains that includes Shades Mountain and Sand Mountain - and it's just the 9th tallest mountain in Alabama. So what does Louisiana have? Swamps and a 535 foot hill about 20 miles south of Ruston called Driskell. You ain't lived till you've vacationed in Alabama!

This board didn't even exist then. That's how long ago that was.

On the boards that were around, you guys talked mad shite. Ironically enough, most of the comments were about us "living in the past".

Lol, good point. If we don't beat you guys this year then a L10U type of situation is very possible.

Alabama Mountains? lol, nah. Hills yeah, mountains not so much. Not sure what is so great about these hills though. I do think Alabama has natural beauty, however I love Louisiana mainly because of the joie de vivre culture. I understand that it is not for everybody. Bama posters on here hate on Louisiana but the truth is Louisianians are just happier people in general. So hate on and geaux tigers.
