The "best team you've ever seen" thread got me thinking about this. Since being at Alabama, Nick Saban has won an extremely impressive 4 national championships. He's also had some really good teams that have gotten very close. Simple question, how would you rank the 9 teams he has coached at Alabama/

I'm a big believer in resume and the 2009 team's resume shits all over the 2011 team's SOS.

2010 had an unreal amount of upperclassmen talent, we just couldn't stay healthy

That's a toughie. I guess it depends if you mean in relation to each other (like, who would win - 2009 vs 2011) or in relation to the seasons they had.
Based on their seasons:
2015 (won playoffs)
2009 (undefeated)
2012 (National Champs and SEC Champs)
2011 (National Champs)
2014 (SEC Champs)
2008 (SEC West winners, SECCG participant)
2013 (SEC West co-winners or however it's stated)
2010 (3-losses, but obliterated MSU, 10-win team)
2007 (Saban's first)
Based on who I would think was the best team?
2015
2011
2012 (all three of these can make the argument for #1)
2014
2009
2013
2010 (biggest underachievers of Saban era, mostly due to lack of leadership)
2008
2007
Still, not terribly scientific. Just my opinion.

Any list that has 2009 >2011 is suspect.
2011 was equal or better in every unit except WR.
2012 was 3rd best based soley on the offensive personel. The 2012 O-line was the last truly dominant Bama offenive line. It was the Goat. AJ came into his own that year with 30 tds and only 3 INTs. Cooper was amazing and Lacy and Yeldon were a great tandem. Defensively 2012 was good, but not dominant. Would have loved to see what Kiffin could have done with this offensive group.
2015 had rudiculous front 7 depth a lot of young star players in the secondary. The offensive line was suspect, but a work horse Heisman winning Henry was productive despite it. The Wrs were good and could have been great if not for Foster going down early and Jake not being very good.
2011
2009
2012
2015
That would be my ranking for the championship teams.
For the non title teams
2008 8-0 SEC record just happened that UF had an all-time great team that year.
2010 Probably the most talented Saban team. Offensive line never really came together and the injuries mounted up all year to key players. Julio, Barret Jones, Fluker, Ingram, Richardson and many more battled injuries all year.

Sabans best coaching job was 2008 and 2014 imo. 2015 was a tremendous coaching job as well.

I liked 09 the best defensively and 13 offensively.
