Most of the post game banter has been focused on LSU's defeat but Sims and the entire team deserve accolades for pulling off a huge victory in a very tough environment. Alabama made plays when LSU didn't.

Yep, Bama show some grit and calmness pulling the game out in dramatic fashion. I was a wreck and for those 18-22 yr old to keep control in a very tense environment is worthy of much praise. Bama's players grit

LSU deserves credit too
They played a very tough game

It was a street fight once again. I was totally shocked at Sims' composure in the last drive in OT and the last drive in regulation. He looked rattled a lot of the night, but he came up huge in the end. Props to LSU for another tough , physical game.

Meh. They're a good team, but nothing without their favors.

Props to sims for not breaking down and crying after a win at Tiger Stadium.

I'm just glad we can understand what he is saying in the post game interview.

Not understanding does have it's advantages, though.

Seriously, this, as many Bama LSU games are, game was very NFL like.
Unlike the 60-50 games of other leagues.
Very hard fought.

As much as I hate walking out of there after again losing to Bama, anyone who was there and feels they didn't get their money's worth is full of shite.

It must feel quite satisfying.

I love watching these two teams and two coaches play football.

I love the uniforms, the fans, and the friggin defense.

LSU is a damn good team. It could have gone either way. Thank goodness we don't have to play them again until next year

Personally, I thought the game was ugly and quite boring. It was definitely not two teams playing their best against each other. I have never thought a game was lost more than that one. Still can't believe Blake turned in to Steve Young with :50 to go. I was in shock last night.

Not many can. Face it,he had not done anything to convince us he could do that until last 50 seconds.I also have to say,LSU changing their Defensive strategy didn't hurt as well.

Yup. Both teams played poorly all game long but Bama made the plays when it counted.

Agree. A few are looking for excuses but most of us realize Bama knows how to win at crunch time. Sloppy game, but Alabama is the better team
