Gave up 44 points to Auburn, but Gus claims "we should have scored 60 on them".

Now they come limping into the Iron Bowl, 13 whole points against UGA (the last time they played a defense with a pulse).

In comes an Alabama defense that feels disrespected vs one QB who is not 100% and another who fears throwing to the same color jersey once he takes a lump.

Alabama's defense will likely be looking to pitch a shutout, and may very well outscore the AU offense.

That said, AU sucks this year, so according to AU fans I'm sure this game "doesn't count".

This defense isn't Oklahoma's. This is a once in every few years (under saban) but once in a generation if you're most teams.

Auburn getting bufu'd.

Yep. You guys should be embarrassed if you give up a point. I'm expecting a 21-0 type defensive performance. I just hope this doesn't hurt Carlson's chances at the Groza since we probably won't be in FG position.

Was a victory for Bama and had a Heisman trophy winner in the game. Excellent comparison.

Are you really bringing up a game that your team lost?

This game has a similar feel to the one in 2011 to tell you the truth. Auburn's offense is anemic and their defense isn't all that great. In 2009, Auburn at least had an offense that could be explosive and move the football consistently.

I expect the Alabama to somehow defy football rules and produce negative points. Alabama 75, Auburn -14
