Thinking about making the trip to Bama tomorrow for basketball game. Is it fairly easy to buy tickets outside the stadium for a sold out game like tomorrow?

Can't even find any on stubhub that are below row 37 or so. I know y'all are probably like us and have that many sold and not that many attend.

The Tigers and Crimson Tide will play at a sold-out Coleman Coliseum Saturday at 1 p.m. on ESPNU. The game will also be broadcast on the LSU Sports Radio Network (Eagle 981. FM).

Tickets can be found outside the arena just like at football games.
Just look for the guys standing on the corner a few blocks away hollering "Got tickets? Need tickets?"

With the championship celebration in the morning and a full house of recruits, I'd expect it to actually be pretty packed.

It's hit or miss. There will be people selling them outside the arena, but I'd imagine there will be a lot of buyers as well. The National Championship parade and ceremony is tomorrow morning so there will be some extra folks in town.

You'll find some, just maybe not great seats or at a premium.

Thanks. In regards to any of the sideline sections how is the view from row 37 and beyond?

Pretty high. Coleman's layout is awful and the side court seats very gradually rise up. Anything above halfway up is pretty far away. It isn't awful, but it isn't close. I'd suggest looking for the top of the ends or even the corner part closest to the ends.

They also sell almost all tickets online now, so (at least personally) it makes it harder to get tickets outside a game because they are paper print off tickets and I don't really trust those.

Terrible. Coleman's sidecourt seats aren't steeped very high, so the higher in rows you get, the farther back you get form the floor. Really about row 25-30 is about as far up as you want to be.

Seats behind the baskets are really the best seats in the house at Coleman.

I don't know. I've been to most of the last few Bama/LSU games in Baton Rouge and the PMAC was about half full (anywhere from 6,000 to 8,000) at those games. Even when Coleman isn't full for an SEC game we'll still usually have anywhere from 11,000 to 13,000 if fans are even remotely excited about the program. You'll find tickets but they may not be close. Contrary to popular belief, unless Alabama basketball has an awful team or poor future prospects, Alabama fans support the team better than every other team in the SEC not named Kentucky, Arkansas, and probably Tennessee.

and UF. However actual attendance numbers are less than 4k per game. Your ticket package with the football tickets inflate your ticket sales quite a bit

"However, actual attendance numbers are less than 4,000 per game"

Where are you getting this from? I've been going to Alabama basketball games for over 30 years and I can count on one hand the number of regular season game much less SEC home games where the arena which holds 15,300 wasn't at least close to half full. Coleman Coliseum for as long as I can remember has averaged 10,000+ for SEC home games. Even pre conference games average well over 4,000 so I don't know where the frick you're getting that number. Last year's attendance figures were probably the worst in my lifetime and I'm sure we still managed to average more fans per game than Auburn did.

Alabama has a ticket package for certain folks that includes basketball. It raises your attendance and revenue numbers. Most schools solicit empty seats, auburn does it, but Bama is able to exploit it with the football tickets very easily.
