I almost want Bama to take Geoff Collins so we can snag up Pruitt.

Can confirm @AJC report that Kirby Smart will be named #UGA coach, barring a last-minute development. Has not signed memo of understanding

wait.. could there be some blue balls resulting from this leak?

@FootballScoop
Sources told us that Smart hopes to bring Will Muschamp as his defensive coordinator but this is not final

Please God make this happen lol

We were never gonna get Smart if UGA wanted him. No need to be angry about this one.

If UGA is having to settle for a first time HC, what made LSU even begin to think they could do better than Les?

Dumb arse boosters that think they know more about football than LSU's AD.

He's a Muschamp type of risk.

I think McElwain will turn out the better coach in long run than Smart. But I don't know anything.

No, LSU would have won the title in '11 and '12.

Smart has been great at Bama, and I wish him the best at Georgia. Georgia fans, I think you guys got a good one.

Not true. Boom does not have the required self control or people skills to be a head coach. Smart acted like a head coach when he was 11. Will it amount to wins? Who knows....but they are not similar risks by any stretch.

Trading Richt for Kirby Smart is, well, not smart.

Some people are coordinators, and always should be.

0 chance UGA pays Muschamp more than Auburn is or I would buy into it

Keep in mind that UGA is going to be saving some money by not paying Smart as much as Richt. They can afford to pony up more money for coordinators. The question is will they.
