Lots of rumbling about a possible deal to get AJ to Denver. Not a whole lot out there in free agency QBs right now.

Denver proved last year that they could win it all with an average (or actually below average) QB play. Manning was just bad at times and Denver still won it all.

A team with the best defense in the league and a QB that's not the best but doesn't turn the ball over and plays smart, sound familiar? (Bama 11,12)

Holy shite at the melt if AJ goes to Denver and wins a SuperBowl before Cam.

AJ looked better than Osweiler and would probably be cheaper on the front end of the contract.

Well they won when Peyton was basically playing game manager

AJ can do that shite well

protect the ball protect the lead let your defense win you the trophy

sounds familiar

Well if he didn't have such TPOS as teammates on defense, he could have probably made it to the Super Bowl.

Cincy will never trade him and I don't think he's a FA.

Connor Shaw would be a better choice.

I mean, they could realistically sign him to a 4 year deal at 10-12 mil per year, which is a steal compared to what they would have payed Osweiler.

Of course, after the first two they would restructure, but at least you aren't throwing 18 mil a year at an unknown, at that point.

ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

not shitting on Connor and AJ McCarron didn't look like Johnny Unitas but he did prove he can be a serviceable QB in the NFL

Connor still has some question marks

Braysus would be cheap as balls... Denver should acquire him as well. Then they can have a "Battle of the Terrible Tats" for the starting job.

So you believe McCarron has earned going from his current 4 year $2mil to a 4 year $48 mil contract??

So, you don't understand how contracts in the NFL work then? Got it.

Go look at the median contract numbers for an NFL starting QB and get back to me.

ETA: Osweiler just went from $3 million over 4 years to $72 million over 4 years.

You should pay attention if you're going to make comments like that.

Won't change the fact that Cam dragged his balls all over Alabama.

You have no clue what you're talking about regarding contracts or money. First off don't compare McCarron to Osweiler. Second off McCarron wouldn't be in the "median middle of the pack" of QBs, he'd be in the very bottom at around $3.5mil a year. Based on your idea McCarron should be making the same money as guys like Andy Dalton, Andrew Luck, Carson Palmer, Matthew Stafford, and in the low end Jamesi Winston and Blake Bortles just to name a few.

I cant wait to see how terrible Denver is this year. Peyton was definitely going down hill, but he doesn't get near enough credit for checks at the line and other things that average QBs don't do.

Denver can not expect to win with average QB play in the future. They will not even get that with AJ. Look for them to get a one year fix and sign a decent QB in 2017.
