Our crew (low-mid 20's) is planning on bringin the tailgate over this weekend. I'm from NW Houston so I've got a ton of friends that are aggies and they've been somewhat helpful but I figure you guys here would help me out more. We are planning on driving over friday morning and setting up at noon so hopefully it wont be too difficult for us to set up.

We were planning on setting up in Spence park but saw on the atm website that they dont allow generators there. So a buddy of mine said that a great location for us to go would be at the NE corner of Reed arena by intersection of Olsen and John Kimbrough. Thoughts on that being a good place to set up?

Also, at LSU we can pay $40 for an overnight parking pass which lets us bring my truck and park it close to where we tailgate. Is there anything like that we can purchase? Or is parking first come first serve?

Finally, we were planning on tailgating out there on friday and camping out and I read on the website that anything like that is prohibited? Is that enforced at all?

TIA

That's where we always set up, IMO the best area to tailgate in CS

Yep, that is the best area to tailgate. Find some grassy areas away from the parking lot and closer to the street and you'll be good.

You can park across the street for $20 in the West Campus Parking garage on gamedays.

They don't like camping out because there was a lot of vandalism when they used to allow it.

With that said, if you set your shite up and just chill under there, they probably won't say anything.

Lots officially open at 6 am.

There is a huge field to park right by George Bush Presidential Library and you can always find a spot. There are also lots of lots you can pay $10 to park in.

Given that they are tailgating right there at Olsen and Kimbrough (Reed Arena), WCG makes the most sense.

Parking way out at George Bush is a hell of a hike back to your car from the tailgate.

I agree I was just saying. The last couple times I was a little late getting into CS and the WCG was full. Just giving other options.

bump...so will we have any issues if we wanted to stay out at the tailgate all tomorrow night and just take a few hour nap before sunrise?

Going to be very busy, but it is definitely the most wild and fun. Spence is my personal favorite because it has trees and is shaded, and a lot more room.

My friend texted me this morning saying they are allowing tailgating all night. I'm not sure if that means after Midnight Yell, or Friday at noon.
