I forgot all about him but how's the former 5 star doing? Did he ever get his grades right? The whole Travonte Valentine situation reminded me about him.

If he qualified, do y'all expect him to start?

Massive! In a good way. He'll probably redshirt and get into shape. We actually have some high end DT depth.

Well that's really good then. Didn't realize you had that kind of talent in front of him. Do y'all expect the run defense to improve?

Significantly. Especially if the lb corps stay healthy and take the next step.

Aw man. That's a fall from grace for him. I was excited to see him this year.

Yes. Linebacker is the weakest spot. Projected starting linebackers from last year (Washington, Alaka, and Walker) were all hurt last season, but they all appear healthy now. 2014 starter, Jordan Mastrogiovanni, walked away from the game after injuries. He has returned as a walk-on after a year away from the game.
All the first year starters from last year are back accept for the walk-on (Blount) and they got plenty of experience.

A&M also finally has defensive tackle depth. The DT starters last year both started out as 3* DEs, if you pay attention to recruiting. This year's group includes Walker, Mack, Moton, Kingsley, Henderson who we're all 4/5* recruits.

The DEs are an elite group too. Garrett, Hall, Cunningham, Johnson, Lockhart, and Madubuike were all 4/5* talent too.

We might not be LSU or Bama talented, but that defensive unit probably is better than every other group in the SEC west. Stealing MSU's defensive line coach won't hurt either. I always loved the toughness of that team's defense.

If Walker is starting over Moore (Walker has NEVER had the production that Richard Moore did in just seven games in either 2014 or 2015), we're in deep shite.

he was a high 4 star (maybe 5 star from some services) before he was a qualifying risk.
