What are you doing?

You have Oregon in 2018/2019

But nothing else noteworthy. Step up. This is the SEC. This goes double for Mizzou.

It is becoming downright odd. A&M has ZERO OOC teams scheduled for 2015 right now, an open slot for '14 and no more than 1 or 2 beyond that. Oregon is our only decent opponent.

I would be more concerned if all the slots were filled with nobodies but I'm not sure what the plan is. I know they are doing some juggling with the return of the Dallas game for Arkie and the stadium rebuild as well. I'm hoping they get a big name for the start of the '15 season and the New Kyle. Apparently we are close to closing up a game with Arizona State in Reliant in '15 but it isn't a done deal.

well when you switch conferences, you have to find who you can to fill up your wholes. we are playing oregon and we are looking to play arizona state. sucks when our ten year deal with arkansas turned into a yearly played conference game and our rival wont nut up and play us

Not really odd at all. They are in active negotiations with several schools and Slive already told everyone to hold off on announcing stuff past 2016 b/c they are contemplating going to a 9 game conference schedule.

When I saw the title I thought this was about Officer Candidate School, which was puzzling.

As already mentioned, A&M lost a very good OOC opponent in Arkansas. But that excuse is wearing thin. The OOC schedule right now is horrible. We really need at least one big time team for 2015 in the refurbished stadium.

I can expect ATM is holding out for Texas to came back into the fold once Dodds retires/new Ad is picked. Want flexibility for them.

But still a weak move by them.

Again, Slive asked that teams not set many future games b/c they have yet to decide if they go to 9 conference games in 2016.

Go look at the predict the future OOC thread LINK on the A&M sub forum to get an idea of how little there is out there.

For example, next year there are only 25 schools that still need a game. We need 2, potentially 3, right now. Setting those up without doing home and homes that bleed into the years Slive doesn't want schools setting up schedules is very difficult.

It's not as simple as calling up whatever school you think sounds good.

Hell, the only reason we may play Arizona State in 2015 at Reliant is b/c Notre Dame backed out of playing them. ASU had to fight like hell just to keep their game with ND this year.

Nice work on that list - just want to get that out there.

Looks to me like the best options are TCU in '14-15 and Tech in '16-17. I'd guess Tech is more doable - not sure TCU will want that game. I sure hate to condemn our students to another Lubbock trip, but to me that's preferable to JerryWorld.
