I believe for anyone to have a chance against bama they must have a good o'line. bama is controlling the line of scrimmage with 6 men.

so, to win you've got to have a very good o'line and a decent plan of attack. I am worried about Trevor Knight's passing ability. his receivers will have to come up very big.

I think the aggie defense is good enough to contend if their offense doesn't let the Alabama defense score and can score themselves and hold onto the ball for a decent TOP.

No one is going to beat bama if their oline is getting mauled by that front 6.

Bad to terrible. We'll probably have negative rushing yards vs Bama.

Might be the most porous line we've ever fielded.

It's ok. Fundamentally we're getting better, but we don't have the talent we used to. I'd say we're a B- on a good day

nothing funny about that. they can hold their own against alabama's offense. their defense doesn't have to be great because Alabama's offense is not great. it's good, but not great. their defense makes their offense look better.

the question is, what about the rest of the team?

the offense cannot give up scores and not score and expect the defense to hold Alabama's offense scoreless.

a good effort would be to hold Alabama to 21 points. but what if the offense and special teams gives up 14 points? that means the offense for a&m has to score 46. not likely. not without a good offensive line.

it's a team game. all cylinders have to be firing.

Our offensive line is FAR better than we expected this year.

Over 6 games, the line has allowed a grand total of 6 sacks and 27 tackles for loss.

For a line with 4 first-year starters, it has done more than an adequate job.

Both tackles are redshirt seniors (Gennesy and Eluemunor)

The guards are a true freshman (Prater) and true sophomore (Lanfear)

The Center is a redshirt freshman (McCoy) who is exponentially better than the undersized Mike Matthews (3 inches taller and 35 lbs. heavier)

A&M's defense is not physical enough to stop bamas offense. They will have their way with A&M...Garrett will be a non factor

21 + 14 = 35

Bama will beat us so badly the NCAA will change some of our Ws to Ls and LSU fans will finally be right about us having a losing season.
