Aggies,
Is this your best season ever? You guys beat the #1 team on the road and lost two close games against top 10 teams. Has there been a better season?

If we win out, go 11-2 and finish in the top five yes, it is our best season in the modern era. In 1998 we went 10-2, beat the #1 and #2 teams but lost our bowl and finished 10th or something.
Discounting our national titles pre-WWII, yes this will likely end up being our best year ever.

They won the Big 12 in 98, had a 12 win season in 1992 and an undefeated season in 94. So yeah, no.

We've had a lot of similar seasons with multiple coaches honestly. We just all get caught up in the recency. It's a good year. We can do better

Our 12 win season came in a watered down SWC and we got blown out in our bowl. We finished outside the top 5.
Given the league we're in, 11 wins this year would top that.
