Again, how is Johnny Jones still the HC at LSU?

Hes taken a team with top 5 caliber talent in the country and has run it into the ditch over and over and over again.
How is he still the coach? He buddy buddy with LSU's AD or what?

I would hope an NIT trip gets him canned. If not, LSU needs a new AD.

He beat Kentucky. Who cares about coaching well enough to make the NCAA Tournament with arguably one of the top players in the country.

incidentally, i have been told by the jonestown cult that #3, #36 and #9 ranked recruiting classes aren't "exactly super dominating" so, lsu doesn't really have top 20 talent. thus, jones is actually doing a great job with the handicap.

Mushberger sure dissed the LSU coaches for not having any scoring plays for Simmons. Said in the NBA at least somebody would draw up some plays.

LSU decided to bring in an LSU man to coach, that's how he got the job. I'm reserving judgement until after this season. He's been improving every year.
He does have trouble coaching up freshmen. But a lot of guys have been great in their second year (Jarell Martin and Jordan Mickey). The only problem is that in the current basketball landscape you only get 1 year with the superstars.

But would Mr. Passive even take the shots if plays were drawn up? I'm not so sure, he seems to like lurking in the background a lot.
