I'm confident we'll beat both those teams. South Carolina looked awful and most definitely isn't winning the east.

I don't think anyone can go based off of the first game. Teams can look very different after a few games for better or worse. I learned this a long time ago and quit worrying.
I've seen seasons start off with a bang and then have everything go to crap, and I've seen the opposite where something clicks and the team improves.

It was the first game. As the old cliche goes: Teams improve the most from game 1 to game 2. USC got the victory, now let's see how much they improve.
And we know nothing about Tennessee yet.
