I think this weekend's series in Houston will tell a lot about our young team. I'm not sure if we are really that good or if the teams we've played have been that over rated. But I am enjoying the hot start. LSU I think is the favorite. Good rotation and always have good hitters.

Ole miss
LSU
A&M

Those 3 are in their own class of the top tier with Florida creeping

Still pretty early.

Will find out a lot about Arkansas this week.

Hogs are 6-0 and go to Ruston to play La. Tech midweek then head to Frisco to play Arizona, Oklahoma State, and Nebraska this weekend.

They are in Frisco this weekend? Damn, didn't know that

I'm 10 minutes from the stadium and supposed to be 72 and sunny Saturday. Hmmm

Great ballpark too

Cheers

Might take the kiddos up there. They have a lawn in the outfield where kids play

Should be good baseball.

Arizona is 8-0 on the season and is ranked
Oklahoma State is coming off a CWS appearance but struggled a bit early
Arkansas is 6-0 and looks much improved
Nebraska, don't know much about. They're usually at least solid but 2-4 this year.

Too early to call right now. A team could really heat up down the stretch and pull it off. I'd give the edge to LSU because they look the best top to bottom right now but there is no great shortage of good teams in the SEC this year.

Admittedly, I haven't watched any teams outside of LSU yet, but I have been keeping up with the scores. If ECU and UNC-W are as good as preseason rankings indicate, then Ole Miss could be really good this year. LSU looks really good as well, not a ton of weaknesses on that team. UF will be good, but they have struggled to score a ton of runs. USCe should also be good.

Florida has the best staff in the conference. I trust bats to wake up more than I trust arms to get better.

We'll know a lot more about LSU's pitching depth after this weekend especially if our ace and Poche' have to be taken out early.

That 2013 team had a stable pitching staff and a really good team top to bottom and then Eades fell off and Cody Glenn was never the same once he got back from his suspension and the hitting stopped hitting once they got to Omaha. I like this team better than that 2013 team. This is probably the best team since 2009
