I understand you might not know much about us now, and even feel we might not fit in well with the rest of you guys, BUT after this weekend that's all going to change... I promise you.
After we put a beatdown on the little piggies from Arkansas in front of a national audience, you're all going to sit back in that recliner you all have in your double-wides, start reflecting on what you just witnessed and think to yourself "I've seen this before", "This looks awfully familiar" and immediately realize, that indeed, we are a perfect fit in this conference.
So on Saturday, I want all you guys to take a seat, grab a Shiner beer, and witness what the Fightin' Texas Aggies do to the hogs. And afterwards, we aren't going to flaunt, we aren't going to brag, because we understand, that beating them is just not that impressive anyway.
So, Thank you SEC, for taking us in, and a special thank you for doing it Arkansas weekend.

I think it would have been awesome if the announcement happened at halftime during the Arky game. Would've completely changed the landscape.

Most SEC fans will probably be busy watching SC/Auburn and UF/Bama ... games that will actually shape the conference championship picture.
