It was never proved that Fluker took money. He later said his phone was hacked. If we want to start talking about former players blabbing, AU's gonna take the cake there as well. The other things look bad and are mostly a result of AU fans playing detective with Operation Red Dog.
As far as what should've been done just because Cecil admitted asking for money. If Cam would've ever once slipped up and admitted to knowing his dad asked for money, he and AU would've been toast. As it stands, he was able to play dumb and act like he and his dad weren't really that close.

All you can do is laugh at this point. NCAA puffed their chest up, but when AU got their lawyers involved the NCAA backed down.

So your synopsis of both situations, when bama cheats it's okay, when auburn does it's not.

I honestly don't know if the NCAA can do much anymore. EVERYONE sees through their BS and probably has dirt on them ha. Schools are just waiting to pounce and I don't know if I would go after UNC and their lawyers. Just stand down, announce a few incidents, give slaps on the wrist and collect a paycheck. They are playing it extremely well

Auburn never received a notice of allegations. Big difference here. The bottom line is at the time it was not illegal for a Dad to ask as long as you can't prove that Cam knew or that the Dad ever received the money. And there simply was not enough evidence.
