Will he ever get another chance to coach at the collegiate level again?

Yes, as Saban's special teams coach/team bitch

As a head coach? Who knows. If he wants to I'm sure a smaller FBS school would give him a chance.

He's going to work at JG Wentworth. He's been screaming their motto since he lost to Kentucky last year.

he'll get the chance to, yes.

Yes. Not in the SEC, but other conferences will give him a chance. I think most logical people realize what a clusterfock the Tenn. program is, and Dooley can honestly say that he has not made it worse.

He will be on Bama's staff picking the dingleberries out of Saban's tighty whities.
Dooley=Bitch Saban
Dooley=Bitch Saban

I agree he was put in a tough spot but he hasn't won one meaningful game in three years as coach. That's fricking pitiful.

He should not get fired... You have to give a guy 4 years to build his program...
You can not judge a guy until you see his team in the 4th year...
ETA: Don't forget the 5 million buyout Dooley has... Plus his coaches have buyouts....

This. He will get the opportunity at an equal level school in another conference, Iowa State, Baylor, Florida Atlantic, etc, a school that has the patience will reap his rewards.

True. This was the year he should have had a signature win. Guess he still has one opportunity this season, although with Florida's win over SC, I'm not sure how much of a signature win it would be.

I'm going to miss beating up on the cold everyyear.

Lowered athletes foot infections, all pencils sharpened to the exact same length, and a lifetime supply of Pomade and Barbara's breast milk. Sweet rewards.

Coach....absolutely. head coach? Not so much...

Dooley has no more opportunities for a signature win this season. He has one more shot at winning a game against a team that isn't irrelevant shite.

All he has to do is make it to and win a bowl game.
Winning a bowl game is something Tennessee hasn't done in a while.

He almost had a signature win... the "13 men on the field" game against LSU.
