About Aranda's contract, Wisconsin has improved with his departure

With Les fired and LSU trending downward, is Aranda safe or is he coaching for his life? Was there a clause in his contract?

We heard the same thing about LF7 in his freshmen year. That was not true. Same here. The defense has looked pretty good for making such a major change from 4-3 to 3-4.

Can't compare end of year stats to 1/3 year stats.
Bottom line right now is Les is fired and Wisconsin is Top 10.
Wisconsin didn't need him and he couldn't help LSU. Pretty damning.

LSU is a Top 25 defense. Les isn't getting fired because their defense stinks. They lost 2 games in which their defense gave up 16 pts and 18 pts.

Yea, but they didn't get those stats padded last year by playing LSU's offense.

New HC may want his own DC....but even if he does...budget may not allow it depending on DCs contract. Might keep him 1 year and see how he does since he knows the players well.

I think they must be doing something better than last year. Oh yeah, they have a competent quarterback at Wisky now. LSU doesn't even know what that means.

Any coach that is considering going to LSU should think long and hard before making that decision. That place just sucks any sort of drive or success right out of them.
