SDS from Aggie Athletics

Locker Room

Player Lounge

Hydrotherapy Pool (TBD on waterfall or no)

I prefer more of a darkened wood style in a locker room; it's timeless. But it very well may look good IRL.

Lounge pic looks like it's part of a large area?

Pool is a pool. I don't get the draw for waterfalls or that other stuff.

I thought the same. Did Populous do Bamas?

Have A&M's facilities been long overdue for renovations and they were planned anyways, or did you guys just have a decent first season in the SEC and decide to go HAM on upgrades?

A mixture of both. Facilities were beyond old and even some of our newer stuff is being upgraded from its utilitarian look.

Where is the disco for the "yell leaders"? Seriously that stadium is going to be nice.

I thought the same. I really thought this was a thread to troll Bama's facilities somehow.

I think it looks pretty nice.
I'd still rather to go to UT if I were a Texan though. You get your own network, and you get Austin.. And you don't have to deal with the SEC teams all year.

So since Arkansas will always be second rate to our facilities, you think they finally join the Big 12 after these renovations are complete?

I generally enjoy seeing new facilities, but these look like a cheap SciFi channel set. However, only the recruits' opinions matter.

This is for the Bright Building which is essentially where all the athletics offices are. Most of it was built about 15 years ago and was ok but they have gone the "best of everything" route to make sure we can keep up in the SEC. It's not necessarily about trying to be that much nicer than Bama or whomever, just meant to be at least on par so that no recruit turns us down based on facilities. One of the big pulls that A&M has for Sumlin is they have given him carte blanche to have whatever he wants.

Kyle is a completely different story. It only had a few areas that were even somewhat up to par and it is getting the full overhaul to be the best college football stadium in the US (which also basically puts it on par with Bama, though maybe a little nicer because it will be a little newer).

They have a lot of cash coming in, low interest rates, and a leadership committed to long term success. Once everything is finished the transformation altogether will be pretty remarkable.
