Is Allen playing?

17 is a lot, especially when you consider Arky's strength on offense stands to really exploit A&M's major weakness.

I think aTm covers, but I wouldn't bet it with how weak aTm's run defense is. Arky might be able to keep JFF on the sideline and slow the game down.

Arky has a 'strength'?

Who knew...?

If Allen is playing, 17 is a lot. If he's not.. it's not enough.

I'm pretty sure the line reflects a touch of uncertainty at this point.. but..

Allen isn't playing, take out that 2nd mortgage.

I don't like that line for AtM.

That is an easy line to get backdoored. AtM will shut it down and pull JFF in the 3rd with big lead of 24+.

With AtM's shitty D, Arky could easily backdoor them at -17.

Yep. Those guys in Vegas are pretty good.

However, I think Sumlin could try to get Manziel another Heisman this year so...

Arkansas is 1-3 against the spread this season.

One game was over by more than 10, one game under by more than 20 and the other two were within 3 points of the line.

exactly, especially if they have Allen back... if Allen played last week they probably hand Rutgers by a couple TDs... if that were the case, no you're looking a 11 to 14 point spread, not 17.

Arkansas's defense is better than people want to give them credit for... and they can run the ball. That's a lot of points for a team that's going on the road with the worst defense in the conference.

Honestly, I can't see him going. Word is that he still hasn't thrown in practice.

It's free money considering the fact that all A&M has to do is stack the box and dare us to pass.

While they have moved some guys around on D and we were able to hold our last opponent (albiet SMU) to just one garbage time TD, we are still very young and inexperienced and I am expecting to give up a ton of yards and for guys to make silly mistakes throughout the game. I wouldn't touch TAMU -17 personally. Our D is still a huge liability until proven otherwise.

that means Allen is not playing.

Arky will try to run slowly to keep JFF off the field but A&M will score at will.

What if

Every week WhatIfSports.com simulates thousands of college football games. This week the Texas A&M Aggies win 79.2% of the time by an average score of 29.1-20.8. The stats in the box score below represent the average outcomes of those simulations.
