Hearing word that some students were driving drunk last night and were killed after a crash. Couldn't find anything on here

Two people got struck by a car on northgate last night but I have not heard anything about a crash

We know Kyle Allen wasn't driving. His keys were intercepted when his teammate threw them to him and run back to the apartment.

Police Confirm Two People Hit And Killed In Front Of Northgate
From what I have read, the driver of the truck had a green light, stopped to assist, and was cooperative with police. The students were crossing the street. Intoxication (on the driver's part) does not believe to have played a role in the accident.
Northgate is a very busy bar-district area right across the street from several dorms on campus. Students dangerously cross that street often at night. I'm surprised it hasn't happened more. Terribly sad.

Northgate was packed last night. My group called it an early night because it was so crowded where the accident occured.
