Texas A&M fancies itself as an elite program on par with Alabama and Ohio State. It's alumni, admin & fans just spent hundreds of millions of dollars to build the largest most modern stadium in the SEC to prove how big there balls are and how bad their intentions are towards all comers are on the field. How can A&M keep Kevin Sumlin after this horrible shi**y season? The third shi**y season in a row.

9-4 will be slightly better than expectations. If we somehow go 10-3, the season will have been light years better than anyone predicted. So we should finish the season before casting judgment.

A&M is such a joke. I'm really glad they are in the SEC, just for entertainment purposes.
Sumlin will be out at the end of 2016. Aggie will pay a huge buyout and then go chasing another dream.

These predictions crack me up. At the beginning of the year, there were threads predicting that Sumlin would get canned at the end of this year.

Charlie Strong is under .500 at Texas. Hasn't won a bowl game. Has never finished the year ranked. And he's getting destroyed on the recruiting trail. And he is incomprehensible when talking to the media.
Sumlin has 3 bowl wins in 3 seasons, a top 5 finish, and has never won fewer than 8 games. And he's had 3 straight top 10 recruiting classes. In short, that's a dumbass comparison.

Kevin Sumlin is the perfect coach for the Big 12, he would kill it there. I'm not bashing the guy but it seems to be the type of place he would fit in perfectly, as an LSU fan I truly hope you keep him forever.

Everyone predicted the Aggie's to finish 5th or 6th in the SEC west prior to the season with this young team. How exactly are they a dumpster fire? I predicted 9-3 and which would be overacveiving and may still hit it. Sorry to toss in facts to your post. If someone predicted them to win the west they were on drugs.

A&M got destroyed at home by Auburn and Alabama in Sumlins 4th year. Thats all it takes to get fired at a solid SEC program. Sumlin got lucky with a Heisman QB and still can't recruit or coach an SEC defense or running game.

Does everyone remember how Sumlin said he wanted his team to be more physical this year? They're dead last in run defense. I honestly think there isn't much he can do about it, because all the spread that is played in Texas.
He hasn't shown he can develop qbs or o-lineman. He is a good recruiter, but thats it.
